The StableVac system applies Poiseuille�s theory of flow, where a reduction in the diameter of tubing causes a restriction in the flow of fluid and ultimately a reduction in the aspiration flow rate. Since this reduction in aspiration is independent of vacuum, StableVac does not impair the strength of the suction instrument. This ensures sufficient egress of fluid and debris while maintaining the desired pressure and distention in the joint.StableVac used RestrictedFlow technology and can be used with both gravity and pump infusion systems.
