Ceramic Intervertebral Spacers (Prod 8091)

About Ceramic Intervertebral Spacers (Prod 8091)

These ceramic intervertebral spacers are made from a proprietary ceramic formulation known as silicon nitride. This material is imaging compatible, projecting a semi-lucent shadow on radiograph. There is no halo present on MRI or CT images. The silicon nitride material also facilitates device placement. Knurled teeth on both the superior and inferior surfaces, and an overall roughened finish maximize implant surface area; allowing greater initial implant stability and resultant bony apposition. Previously available from Amedica.
