TPX-100 (Prod 150624)

About TPX-100 (Prod 150624)

TPX-100 is being developed for regeneration and repair of cartilage in patients suffering from osteoarthritis. TPX-100 is a novel 23-amino-acid peptide that acts to stimulate the production of cartilage and bone in a tissue-specific manner. It was derived from matrix extracellular phosphoglycoprotein (MEPE), a 525-amino-acid protein that occurs naturally in humans and is known to be involved in the regulation of hard tissue and phosphate metabolism. Because of its small size, TPX-100 is being manufactured by a chemical synthesis process.
