The EN-TACT® (Emergency Noninvasive Tissue And Compartment Testing) device is used to detect compartment syndrome quickly and non-invasively. The ultrasonic device is more portable than traditional phased-array imaging systems and does not require specialized expertise to operate. It is ideal for sports medicine (ex. long distance runners, football), trauma and military combat situations in which compartment syndrome is common. ***** Note: This is an "emerging product" that is not yet available for public use.
