DiscAssist (Prod 8991)

About DiscAssist (Prod 8991)

The DiscAssist is a software-based product that is installed on the C-arm computer or on the laptop, and allows the surgeon to pre-operatively plan the appropriate size, and placement of artificial discs in disc replacement surgery. The DiscAssist has the capability to superimpose pre-operative plan (CT) images with inter-operative fluoro images. Every time the surgeon takes a fluoro (x-ray) image, the system shows on the C-arm screen where the tool and pointer is relative to the superimposed preoperative plan.
