Arista®AH is a sterile, absorbable hemostatic powder consisting of Microporous Polysaccharide Hemospheres (MPH®), derived from purified plant starch.When applied directly to the source of bleeding, Arista®AH begins clotting the blood on contact, achieving complete hemostasis, in most cases, within minutes.
Position the Arista®AH applicator and apply powder to the bleeding site.
Unlike other surgical hemostats which claim to be "ready when you are" but which can require minutes to hours of preparation, Arista®AH requires:
•NO mixing
•NO additional components
•NO assembly
•NO special storage conditions.
