6/26/16: Additional information from Andrew Walden, Zimmer Biomet - Sales:

Older Zimmer stems including HG and Anatomic (most common) utilized a 6 degree taper.  Zimmer Biomet still manufactures 28, 32, and 36 COCR heads with this taper.

The easiest way to identify older Zimmer total hip prostheses is by the locking tabs on the HG shells.  The easiest way to determine HG vs. HGII shells is that the HG used 4.5 mm screws and the HGII used 6.5 mm.  Zimmer Biomet still makes liners for the HGII shells.
