Titanium SPS Coating

About Titanium SPS Coating

Thanks to its low oxidation level, Titanium SPS coating shows higher cohesive and adhesive strength when compared with conventional Air Plasma Spray processes. Thanks to its superior mechanical performance, TiSPS is particularly suitable for the production of titanium rough surface which allow bone on-growth, resulting in remarkably stable bone-implant interfaces. Thanks to the cooler surrounding atmosphere, tooling and masking for the SPS process are considerable less demanding activities than those required for Vacuum Plasma Spraying. TiSPS can also be overlaid with a second Osprovit® HA coating to further stimulate early biological response.
