StaXx® XDL Expandable Device (Prod 11586)

About StaXx® XDL Expandable Device (Prod 11586)

The low profile spacer, with sizes that start at 8 mm, allows for easy, less traumatic insertion of the implant into the surgical site. The implant's low initial starting height is designed to preserve vertebral body and endplate integrity during insertion. The low profile expandable implant design, available in 14 and 16 mm widths, may provide a significantly smaller working channel compared to a monolithic spacer of 18 - 22 mm widths. This may result in a smaller operative corridor and less nerve retraction.

Attributes of the StaXx® XDL Expandable Device System:

• Controlled in situ distraction in 1mm increments

• Less invasive

• Biconvex and Lordotic implant design

• Potential benefits which may include less nerve retraction, tissue disruption and preservation of endplate integrity.

The StaXx® XDL Expandable Device is indicated for use as a Vertebral Body Replacement device inside the U.S.
