About PANTERA® Proximal Humerus Fixation Plate System (Prod 2983)
PANTERA® is a Proximal Humerus Fixation plate system indicated for fractures and fracture dislocations, osteotomies, and non-unions of the proximal humerus. The plate is low-profile, non-impinging due to its anatomical design coming in both left and right configurations and acts as a posterior buttress. Innovative suture clips offer endless possibilities for reconstruction of the soft tissues and comminuted bone. In complex fracture scenarios, PANTERA® offers un-equalled stability. Cross-Element fixation minimizes loss of reduction and protrusion through the articular surface of the humeral head. Inspired by the high incidence of joint penetration, particularly in elderly patients with osteopenic bone, exclusive TOBY 3D™ technology now makes it possible to apply a screw or peg through a locking post, thus accomplishing an internal scaffold within the trabecular bone.
