Muscle Pattern Recognition (MPR) System

About Muscle Pattern Recognition (MPR) System

Muscle Pattern Recognition (MPR), is a unique, non-invasive clinical tool for the analysis of muscle function.  MPR is a patented clinical tool that analyzes patterns of muscle recruitment.  It provides detailed physiological information on muscle function that can assist in the diagnosis and treatment of back and neck injuries and illness.  It has received CE Mark approval. This approval allows for the marketing and sale of the device in the European Union (EU) and all countries recognizing the CE Mark.

Clinical trials of the MPR System are currently underway at Salt Lake City, UT and are expected to be completed in the second half of 2010. The goal of the study is to demonstrate that the MPR System can differentiate normal from abnormal biomechanical function in a population suffering from neck or back pain.
