About Morphix Suture Anchor (Prod 9880)
Using proprietary shape memory PEEK Altera material, the Morphix™ Suture Anchor, 3.5mm device, has gained FDA clearance. This proprietary shape memory material will allow for development of devices that will be 'dynamic' in nature versus the current PEEK technology which is 'static'. Shape memory implants can enter a cavity or bony tunnel in one diameter and deploy them to a much larger size. MedShape Solutions, Inc. was recently awarded top honors and received the prestigious Gold Award for their MORPHIX™ Suture Anchor at the recent Medical Device + Design Excellence Awards meeting (MDEA)in 2010.
