About ExoShape® ACL Fixation System (Prod 11117)
ExoShape® ACL Fixation System is a two-part, biocompatible PEEK Altera™ interference fixation device that simplifies and improves soft tissue graft fixation during anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstructive surgery.
Performing knee ligament reconstructive surgery using this device allows the surgeon unparalleled accuracy in fixating the soft tissue graft to ensure the most anatomic and stable reconstruction for the patient. PEEK Altera is biocompatible, meaning the body accepts the material without initiating any kind of inflammatory response.
The initial phase of the ExoShape featured sizes from 6-9 mm in diameter and 28-30 mm in length. The new sizes retain the 30mm length but are available in diameters of 10, 11, and 12 mm.
