The BTM™ 3.0 Transplant application is an industry leading web-enabled system for automation of the complete supply chain in transplant tissue bank industry. The web-enabled windows-based interactive software utilizing bar-code technology has been developed with the functionalities to accommodate the entire process from Donor Source, to Tissue Recovery, Tissue Processing, Tissue Distribution, and finally Recipient and Post-op information management. Additionally, it has the facility for a search engine for a multi-dimensional database query, maintaining a real time inventory of banked grafts, identifying the status and location of a specific graft throughout the entire process, multi-layered security system, as well as generating reports. The software converts patients' (donor and/or recipient) data into unique identification numbers and bar-code formats, in order to retain full confidentiality and privacy. It has the default function of suggesting a specific location for each graft in the tissue bank, which can be overridden manually. The software allows for individual storage unit configuration and dynamic visualization of the graft location once it is placed in a storage unit.
