About Aquamantys Malleable Bipolar Sealer with Light (MBS) (Prod 8077)
This system utilizes proprietary Transcollation™ technology to permanently seal blood vessels through a biomechanical process that transforms fibrous collagen in vessel walls. Aquamantys Bipolar Sealers are sterile, single-use bipolar electrosurgical devices intended for use in conjunction with the Aquamantys Pump Generator for delivery of RF energy and saline for hemostatic sealing and coagulation of soft tissue and bone at the operative site. With a focus on hip procedures, the Aquamantys Malleable Bipolar Sealer with Light may provide improved clinical outcomes and decreased operative time by making it easy to deliver the power of Transcollation™ technology to hard-to-reach anatomical structures. It is also now available for use in orthopaedic trauma cases ie: lower limb amputation, pelvic osteotomy, and large debridement procedures; sacral, hip, periprosthetic and femoral fractures and long bone non-union procedures. The NEW Aquamantys™ Malleable Bipolar Sealer with Light features: A super-bright LED light for superior visualization of treatment areas, a malleable shaft for improved access to hard-to-reach anatomical structures and enhanced treatment ergonomics.
