AmnioPro-C is a HydraTek™ Process tissue matrix derived from human placental tissue. AmnioPro-C provides a bio-compatible wound covering and connective tissue matrix for wounds, surgical wounds, voids and defects.
HydraTek™ Process allografts contain the biologically viable ExtraCellular Matrix (ECM), a protein system that provides the foundation of the body's tissues and organs. This ECM contains fibrous collagen proteins that provide a structural scaffold for cellular migration and attachment. The ECM also provides growth factors, hyaluronic acid, and other proteins which play a role in controlling inflammation, pain and cellular proliferation throughout the defect.
Application: Specify the appropriate volume of AmnioPro-C; Thaw the vial (3-5 min); Draw AmnioPro-C into sterile syringe using 18 gauge needle; Apply using 25 gauge needle (or similar) using intradermal layered technique; Inject into and around the defect site to provide maximum coverage; Apply slowly to allow AmnioPro-C to settle into the tissues.
