Triathlon Partial Knee Resurfacing System (Prod 8643)

About Triathlon Partial Knee Resurfacing System (Prod 8643)

The Triathlon PKR system uses Stryker's patented single radius design, or curvature of the implant, to more accurately copy the geometry and motion of a normal knee. This, coupled with the ability to balance the gaps that form when the knee bends, is intended to produce more stable, natural knee motion. Triathlon PKR utilizes Stryker's X3 Advanced Bearing Technology with a highly cross-linked polyethylene, which has demonstrated up to a 96% decrease in wear in laboratory testing compared to competitive products.3 X3 is a plastic material called polyethylene that is known for its strength and ability to bear weight.4-13 Triathlon PKR is the industry's only partial knee resurfacing product with highly cross-linked polyethylene.
