Endo-Model Saddle Prosthesis (Prod 1606296)

About Endo-Model Saddle Prosthesis (Prod 1606296)

Cemented prosthesis stem for hip revision. Following revision arthroplasty or tumor surgery the acetabulum often cannot be reconstructed. This is because a graft cannot be placed or obtained, or because the patient's condition rules out such a time-consuming operation. Such cases nearly always require comprehensive surgical planning. The options of computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging and 3D modeling must be considered. The Endo-Model® saddle prosthesis can be used as an effective alternative to simplify this problem. It may only be combined with prosthetic stems which feature a 14/16 mm taper and a hole at the interface to engage the anti-rotation pin inside the base component, e.g. a Lubinus® SPII® stem.
