The Tantalum Bead Set is provided in sterile packaging and consists of 1 mm tantalum spherical x-ray markers (16 per set) in a cartridge. They are used as radio-opaque markers to be implanted into bone or soft tissue.
The Tantalum Bead Set is used with the Halifax Bead Inserter which allows for fast and easy loading of tantalum beads into the Bead Inserter.

- Tantalum beads of commercially pure unalloyed tantalum
- Tantalum is radio‐opaque, so implanted markers are highly visible in a radiographic image allowing for the monitoring and measurement of in vivo micro‐motion.
