The MABS is a next generation soft tissue reconstruction system offering surgeons the ability to address larger intermetatarsal angles with and without the need for a traditional osteotomy.
This advanced technique assists with the correction of Hallux Valgus deformities by providing secure reduction of the 1st intermetatarsal angle in patients who have a flexible or reducible deformity.
The technique is used in conjunction with a traditional release of the lateral MPJ capsular structures and removal of the medial eminence.
MABS is indicated for reducible 1st intermetatarsal angles focusing on the mild to moderate Hallux Valgus deformities <16 degrees.
