VIKING Dynamic Interspinous System (Prod 11089)

About VIKING Dynamic Interspinous System (Prod 11089)

Dynamic interspinous system for the lumbar spine

  • Acts as a "shock absorber"
  • Deformative and load transfer abilities along the spine that preserve the kinematic movements of the segment in which it is implanted

The core of the VIKING is an elastic spring which can be deformed, therefore allowing force distribution along the spine. Its anatomical shape, consisting of two concave-shaped ends, suitably fits the spinous processes of two adjoining vertebras. The implant is fixed to the spinous process via a Dacron ligament which passes through the holes in the saddles and blocked with a titanium clip
