A focussed research programme has developed Allogran-R®, a highly consistent, polycrystalline and porous, tri-calcium phosphate bone substitute.
Biocomposites' proprietary process provides a pure, synthetic, multiporous granular matrix, with outstanding biocompatibility.
Allogran-R is designed to provide an osteoconductive scaffold, which can be combined with saline or blood to produce a cohesive matrix for the treatment of skeletal defects, with safe and predictable clinical results.
Allogran-R is fully resorbed through dissolution and cell mediation to be replaced by new bone.
