X-Off Screw (Prod 11349)

About X-Off Screw (Prod 11349)

The Weil osteotomy of the lateral metatarsal heads is performed especially by static problems of the 4 lateral rays while allowing retention of all metatarsal heads. Due to a suitable operating technique, specially developed instruments and the X-Off Screw, this very reliable and successful procedure can be performed easily, quickly and without any complications.

The X-Off Screw is:
•  An implant and instrument all in one
The screw head is clamped directly into the drill.
A screwdriver is therefore not required.
•  A self-stopping screw
The screw head snaps off as soon as compression of the bone fragments is achieved.
•  Self-compressing
The proximal part of the X-Off Screw is thread-free which automatically leads to compression
   at the osteotomy site.
•  Self-drilling and self-tapping
The sharp pointed end allows the screw to be inserted without any pre-drilling or pre-tapping.
